Day 1 Arrival in Entebbe.

13 days great wildlife primates safari with arrival at Entebbe International Airport where a representative from Steady safaris will meet, greet, and assist you before taking you to your overnight hotel in Kampala.

Day 2: From Kampala to Ziwa rhino sanctuary, Murchison falls national park

The travellers will embark on a beautiful road trip starting 6:30 am as they shall depart for Ziwa rhino sanctuary found 170 km (105miles).
11:00 am track southern white rhinoceros, visitors will be given an awareness briefing concerning the rhino sanctuary, and thereafter be led to where the rhinos are.
1:00 pm guests will be driven to the Kabalega dinners for a nicely served hot meal, and cold drinks to accompany their lunch meal.
3:45 pm travellers shall be making an entry in the Murchison falls national park shortly after they will begin their exploration of this wonderful destination.

Day 3 Murchison falls morning game drive and afternoon boat ride

This day early in the morning we go for a sunrise game drive we have great chances of spotting lions, elephants, leopards, various species of antelopes, and giraffes. In the afternoon we have the impressive boat safari trip on the Victoria Nile to see the Murchison Falls. Hippopotamus, Nile crocodiles, African buffalo, African elephants, and many birds are among the expected.

Day 4 Morning game drive and afternoon game drive

There is an option for a sunrise safari to increase our chances of seeing more wildlife animals that we might have missed yesterday. Afterwards, your guide will drive you back to the lodge for lunch, after which you will rest and get ready for the sunset safari.

Day 5 travel to Kibale Forest

Early morning departure journey to Kibale Forest. We will pass close to Lake Albert, on a clear day the view from the top of the Albert rift is spectacular. In the afternoon we will arrive at Kibale Forest Camp, sleeping with the noises of the tropical rainforest.

Day 6 Track chimpanzee morning with Bigodi swamp walk in the afternoon

At 08.00 we will start with the 4 hours chimp walk. Also, 10 other primates can be seen!! The park is also known for all the butterflies and birds. In the afternoon a walk through Bigodi Swamp (community-based project)

Day 7 Travel to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Early morning departure for Queen Elizabeth national park. Via Fort Portal, we reach at around midday in time for lunch at either Bush Lodge/Mweya Lodge in Queen Elizabeth NP with a stunningly beautiful view over Kazinga Channel. In the late afternoon, we will make a game drive.

Day 8 Explore Queen Elizabeth national park

This day is for a game drive on the plains of Queen Elizabeth with thousands of Ugandan kobs, lions, elephants, etc. You will go lion tracking in the morning during your game drive which will end at about 11:30 am and then drive to Mweya safari lodge for lunch. Also on the program is a two hours launch trip on the Kazinga channel where we will see all the animals on the side of the Kazinga channel. It is believed that the Kazinga channel has more hippopotamus than any other water body in the world.

Day 9 Explore Queen Elizabeth - South Ishasha area

After breakfast, you go to Kyambura Gorge for chimpanzee tracking. The walk is about 2 to 3 hours and it is not very challenging.
With all this done we drive to the Ishasha sector for another game viewing safari including searching for tree-climbing lions.

Day 10 To Bwindi forest national park

Go for another morning game drive before we continue to Bwindi forest national park.

Day 11 Gorilla tracking

Enjoy gorilla tracking today this is how the day starts;
6:30 am start breakfast until 7:15 am.
7:30 am depart the lodge for the area office where dancers will be performing local dance. Here clients watch the dancers while their passports are being registered.
8:00 am attending a short briefing on the gorilla tracking process, get grouped, get assigned a tracking group/family.
8:30 am start the gorilla tracking walking into the forest or taking a drive to the starting point where the tracking begins.
You will head out with your packed lunch, plenty of drinking water in your backpack.
2:00 pm you will be back and you will be very exhausted.
We meet you and bring you to your accommodation for cleaning up and rest.

Day 12 Travel to Lake Mburo national

We depart Bwindi for another small national park called Lake Mburo where we arrive early evening.

Day 13 to Entebbe

Morning walking safari, return to the lodge for cleaning up and have an early lunch before we depart for the airport. To end the 13 days

Terms and conditions for 13 days great wildlife primates safari

1. At the moment of booking a deposit of 40% of the total amount is due.
2. Bookings must be made at least 60 days before the date of departure.
3. Steady Safaris Ltd reserves the right to not accept bookings made less than 60 days before the date of departure.
4. Full payment has to be made not less than 30 days before the departing date of the tour.
5. If the full amount is not paid in due time, Steady Safaris Ltd reserves the right to treat the booking as cancelled.
6. Cancellations: 60 days before the departure date of the tour, a full refund of deposit; between 60 and 30 days, a refund of 50% of deposit; less than 30 days, no refund.
7. Gorilla permits are non-refundable.

Notes Fly safari Uganda

1. Travelers are supposed to reach Entebbe on the tour starting the day before 8 am and leaving from the same airport at the end of the tour after 8 pm.
2. If these times can't be respected then 1 or 2 days should be calculated for the overnight in Kampala.
3. Children under 12 years of age are not allowed to see chimpanzees.
4. Kibale National Park offers small walks of 1 or 2 hours followed by creative activities.
5. Gorilla trekking is not allowed for anyone under 15 years of age.
