Day 1: 3 days Murchison falls trip begins in the morning
7:00 am you will be picked from your location in Kampala to start your trip to Murchison falls national park the largest national park in Uganda. The drive takes you 60 km through the heart of Luwero town located within the Luwero triangle know for the guerrilla war which saw 500,000 people dead.
11:00 am the road trip would have covered 170 km arriving at the Ziwa rhino sanctuary. Visitors are registered at the gate then a 7 km drive is covered through the sanctuary to the headquarters. Travelers are registered for rhino visiting, briefed on the history of the sanctuary before we go to the start location. Normally a short drive is taken to the starting point where walking starts. You will walk to the rhinoceros that you will observe for 40 minutes to 1 hour. Return to the starting and then drive out of the sanctuary to Kabalega dinners where visitors will take their lunch.
2:00 pm we depart Kabalega dinners driving through Kafu the meat roasting trading center and crossing the Kafu River. Continue through Masindi town where the palace of the Omukama Kabamba Iguru King of Bunyoro has his kingdom offices. Drive to the entry gate of the Murchison national park here registration is done for visitors. We drive to the top of the falls 80 km where you will be blown away with these falls. It is said that the Murchison Falls are the most powerful falls in Africa.
5:00 pm drive to the crossing point by ferry 34 km. We cross at 6:00 pm driving to your accommodation where you are have been booked.

Day 2 - Explore Murchison Falls national park
3 days Murchison falls safari starts with a morning game drive at 6:30 am where we drive to the Pakuba area to start on the major game tracks of Albert, Victoria, Queen, and on to the delta. We take along drive today with packed lunch searching for Lions, Leopards, African buffaloes, Rothschild Giraffe, Jackson’s Harte-beest, Warthogs, African Elephants, Hippopotamus, Patas Monkey, Olive Baboon, Jackals, Uganda Kob, Water-buck, and Hyenas.
1:30 pm we start driving to the Paraa area which means the place of hippopotamus where you will be taken on a boat trip to the Victoria Nile. Along this boat trip you will see some of the following bird species such as the Dwarf Kingfisher, Pied Kingfisher, Malachite Kingfisher, African Skimmers, Storks, Goliath Heron, White-thigh-ed Horn-bill, and Great Blue Turaco are most common. Your boat guide will point out the crush site of Ernest Hemingway.
The ride takes you close to the base of the Murchison Falls, and here you are be treated to yet another sight of these lovely Murchison falls. 5:30 pm you return and we go for another short game drive before you are driven back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 3 - Game Drive and return to Kampala
9:00 am we depart Murchison Falls heading towards the south back to Kampala 315 km with a stop over for a picnic.
Arriving back in Kampala between 3 - 5 pm end of 3 days Murchison Falls excursion.
