Ishasha is the southern sector of Queen Elizabeth national park

one of the most alluring game viewing areas in East Africa. The park is dominated by light acacia woodland and savannah. The most common large mammal species in this habitat are Uganda Kobs, topi and buffalo. Elephants are found in the sector. Most famous are the tree-climbing lions. The northern circuit is rated famous and best known for tree-climbing lions, it also pass a swamp where shoebills are frequently seen. While the southern circuit is better for general game viewing with large herds of Cape buffalo.

Day 1 Drive from Kampala to Queen Elizabeth national park

Departure from Kampala and transfer to the southwest of the country heading to queen Elizabeth national park. On our way we will pass the Ugandan Equator where we will make a stop for photos and souvenir shopping.

In the afternoon arrival in Queen Elizabeth NP and continue to Simba Safari Camp for overnight.

Day 2: Queen Elizabeth National Park

The day begins early as we start with a morning game drive and head for the mating ground of the Uganda Kobs. We search for the lions, elephants, buffaloes and other wild animals in their natural habitat before returning for lunch. In the afternoon we take on a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, a natural channel between Lake Edward and Lake George. Thanks to the abundant bird life that is sighted, and the elephants, buffaloes and hundreds of hippos that are cooling off at the shores, this cruise will definitely be one of the highlights of your safari.

Overnight at Simba Safari Camp.

Day 3: Drive to Ishasha south of Queen Elizabeth

We will go searching for tree climbing lions south of the park 79kms here you find the tree climbing lions and other mammals such as topi, elephants, hippos, kobs, cape buffalo. We will depart in the afternoon and return to our accommodation for the last night in Queen Elizabeth national park.

Day 4: Queen Elizabeth National Park - Kampala

have a relaxed breakfast and prepare for a calm transfer back to the capital with lunch en route. Arrival in Kampala in the evening.
