Day 1: Arrival at the airport
Upon your arrival at the airport you will be met and greeted by our representatives who will then transfer you to your hotel in Kampala for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park
Our tour guide will pick you up from your hotel at 7.00am and drive you North-East through the famous Luweero Triangle. Reaching Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary at around 11am. You will go Rhino tracking which takes about one hour. After tracking you will continue to Masindi Town, lunch break at Kabalega Resort / New Court View Hotel or its equivalent. After proceed to the park stopping at the top of the falls which is an incredible sight. From here you will continue on, taking a ferry to cross the river up to your desirable Lodge. Game viewing on the way is very good; you may spot hippos, crocodile, elephants, buffalo, and birds among other animals seeing grazing around the sand bank arriving at the Park in the evening. Day 3: Game drive and Boat ride:
Wake up early prepare for the game drive to see Rothschild’s giraffe, buffaloes, Uganda kob, hyena, oribis, warthog, jackals, and leopard among others. Return to the lodge for full breakfast and lunch. After lunch, you will go on a boat trip up to the bottom of the Murchison Falls. Expect to get close to a variety of animals, in addition to some huge Nile crocodiles, Antelopes, elephants, lots of birds including the fish eagle, storks. Day 4: Murchison Falls-Kibale Forest National Park.
After breakfast you will be driven through Masind, Hoima towns to arrive in time for lunch in Fortportal. The journey from Murchison to Kibale takes about 7-8 hours drive. After lunch proceed to Kibale Forest National Park which is about 35 kms from Fortportal overnight stay at.

Day 5 Chimpanzee tracking and nature walk to Bigodi swamp walk
Kibale Forest is home to 13 primate species and a guided forest walk offers a good chance to see the Chimpanzee as a major resident of this forest. There are 9 diurnal primates, these include, vervet, red-tailed, L’Hoest’s, blue monkeys, grey-cheeked manabey, red colobus, black and white colobus, olive baboon and the most famous of all, the chimpanzee. Although chimp sightings are not guaranteed, the odds are good with the chance of encountering them standing at higher then 90%. This morning you will go on a forest walk in search of primates. Whilst trekking in the depths of the lush green forest, you will be surrounded by bird song and can expect to see at least 5 or 6 other types of primate, most probably the grey-cheeked managebey and the red-tailed monkey and of course the chimpanzee. The walking is fairly easy due to the well-maintained trails and reasonably flat terrain. Day 6: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park:
Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. The drive passes through Fort Portal and then south along the eastern length of The Rwenzori Mountains, with the hope of viewing the glaciated peaks. We gently descend into The Great African Rift Valley and Queen Elizabeth National Park and Mweya Lodge, situated on a peninsula overlooking Lake Edward and Kasinga Channel, offering beautiful views of the park with the Rwenzori Mountains in the background. Queen Elizabeth National Park resides in a fertile, equatorial area and has beautiful scenery. It is Uganda’s most popular and accessible savannah reserve, with a total area of 1978km². It is primarily associated with grassy savannah plains, but this impressive park also includes within its boundaries, leafy rainforests, dense papyrus swamps and natural volcanic crater lakes. As a result it has one of the highest biodiversity ratings of any game reserve in the world, including a total of 95 recorded mammal species and more then 610 species of birds. Day 7: Game drive and lunch cruise:
Early in the morning after coffee or tea, you will be lead by a tour guide who will drive you to Kasenyi for a game drive. Expect to see lions, elephants, leopard, buffaloes, and warthog, antelopes, Uganda kobs plus various species of birds. A slow drive back to the lodge for full breakfast rest. In the evening take a two hour’s boat safari on the Kazinga channel that connects lake Edward and George, while on the boat expect to see hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes, elephants, primates, and various species of birds such as malachite kingfishers, great white pelicans, saddle billed stork and many others. A slow drive to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 8 Transfer to Bwindi impenetrable forest.
Your safari now continues to the primeval Bwindi forest best known for Gorilla safari, mountain gorilla safari, gorilla tours, gorilla trek, mountain gorilla tours, gorilla trekking, gorillas safaris, gorilla safari packages, gorilla tracking, gorilla treks. Travelling via Ishasha - subject to road conditions - you can observe the unusual behaviour exhibited by the tree-climbing lions. The long journey through the rapidly changing landscape takes you to Volcanoes Bwindi Lodge, which looks across to the towering trees of the forest. Day 9 Gorilla tracking in Bwindi impenetrable forest
After enjoying an early breakfast, you set off gorilla tracking. Trekking through the steep, densely forested hills and then finally coming across the gorillas camouflaged in the vegetation is an inspiring and privileged moment. Tracking in the Bwindi forest requires stamina and can often take most of the day. Alternatively there are other activities and excursions on offer in and around the national park: Take a guided walk in the rainforest, home to several endemic bird species, clouds of butterflies and rare plant life. This walk offers excellent photographic opportunities and the knowledgeable guide will provide a great insight into this globally important habitat.
Walk through the local village, and learn about community projects, such as the Amagara project that assists local farmers and their communities, and Bwindi Community hospital which started as a health clinic under a tree and now provides vital medical and educational services to over 60,000 people. Discover the traditions of the Batwa Pygmies, and learn about the native tribal inhabitants of the forest. Day 10 Transferto Lake Bunyonyi:
With breakfast done the tour guide will transfer you to Lake Bunyonyi via Kabale. Lake Bunyonyi is the deepest crater lake in Uganda and the 2nd deepest in Africa after lake Tanganyika in Tanzania. The lake derived its name from the very birds that inhabit the lake hence its name Lake Bunyonyi. You will arrive in time for a hot lunch, and after lunch its is possible to take a dug out canoe ride to the various islands that are found around the lake. Return back to the main land in the late evening for dinner and an overnight stay at Bunyonyi Overland Camp / Arcadia cottages / Bushara Island Camp;
Day 11: Lake Bunyonyi- Rwanda.
Early in the morning after breakfast, your drive will take to Kisoro where you cross the boarder into Rwanda. (Your Watch will go back one hour). Day 12: Gorilla tracking in volcanoes National Park
After breakfast your will be taken to the park Headquarter and get briefed about the dos and don’ts while you are with the gorillas. The experience is worth your time and money.
Should you be up for it the evening will usher in the Ibyiwacu community walk in the Banyarwanda community. See how they have managed their life, they will entertain you as they are happy to receive you and learn more about their culture. Back to your accommodation for dinner and breakfast.

Day 13: Golden monkey tracking
Breakfast then golden monkey tracking start at either Kabatwa at the base of Sabyinyo or Musanga at the base of Karisimbi. These golden monkeys are the most endangered primates in the volcanoes. And tracking can take between 1-7 hours and ounce found you strictly allowed staying with them for only one hour. Other primates are also expected to be seen during the tracking such as the Olive Baboon, Grey-cheeked mangabay among other plus also various species of birds. Day 14: Dian Fossey and Lake Kivu
Early in the morning breakfast then you will take a visit to the Dian Fossey Grave a prominent researcher who carried out research on the behaviors of these giant apes for the period of over 18 years. Take a visit to her research centre at Karisoke, after the activity you will be transferred to Kibuye Town which is located on the eastern side of Lake Kivu. After breakfast, you will proceed to the eastern side of Lake Kivu. Day 16: Transfer to Nyungwe forest National Park:
You will leave volcanoes National Park in the morning after a full served breakfast. Then head to Nyungwe National Park for primate watch. Nyungwe National Park is one of the mountainous rain forests in Africa with over 13 species of primates coupled with the chimpanzees, black and white colobus monkey, and Angolan colobus monkey among other. Make a stopover at Butare and Nyanza the historical and cultural site. You will visit the National museum and University in Butare, you will also visit the old King’s palace in Nyanza for cultural interaction. Day 17: Chimpanzee tracking / Canopy walk in Nyungwe forest National Park:
Have a cup of tea / coffee, after report to the park headquarters to meet your guide and also to get information about chimp tracking. After head to the forest to begin searching the chimps. Some level of physical fitness is required because it may involve passing through muddy and thick forest. The activity is tiresome although rewarding. Tracking can take between 1-6 hours. Meeting our closest relatives the chimps is one of the unforgettable experiences. The park is a home of over 13 species of primates including the chimps, Angolan Colobus, Olive Baboon, Grey-cheeked Mangabeys, L’Hoest’s monkeys, monkey, golden, Vervet monkeys, Hamlyn’s Monkey, Silver Monkey, Red-tailed Monkey among other plus also various species of birds such as orange and white birds, great blue Turaco, forest Hornbills, among others can be viewed. The guide will provide relevant information not only to the chimps but also to other fauna and flora that live in the forest to make the safari not only interesting but also educative and informative. If the evening is free you can go for a canopy walk or Nature walk, here you have a higher chance to view various species of butterflies, dissimilar species of birds, and different species of primates that reside in the upper levels of the forest come back for dinner and an overnight stay at the lodge. 18: Departure:
Enjoy an early morning breakfast, then after you will head to Kigali Rwanda’s capital and largest city.
