Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe

Day 2: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park
The second day of your Ugandan safari begins with an early breakfast at your accommodation. As you prepare for the journey to Kibale Forest National Park. After fueling up with a hearty meal, you’ll meet your guide and embark on a scenic drive through the Ugandan countryside. Heading west towards the lush green landscapes of the Rwenzori Mountains.
Typically, the journey from Entebbe to Kibale Forest takes around 5-6 hours by road. Traversing winding mountain roads and passing through picturesque villages and towns along the way. As you travel, you’ll have the opportunity to soak in the beauty of Uganda’s diverse landscapes. From fertile farmland to dense tropical rainforest.
Upon arrival at Kibale Forest National Park, you’ll check in to your accommodation. Which may range from rustic eco-lodges to luxurious safari tents nestled amidst the trees. After settling in and enjoying a delicious lunch. Have the opportunity to explore the surrounding area and stretch your legs with a guided nature walk or cultural village visit.

Today is the highlight of your visit to Kibale Forest National Park: chimpanzee tracking. After an early breakfast, you’ll make your way to the park headquarters. Where you’ll meet your experienced guide and receive a briefing on the rules and regulations for tracking chimpanzees in the forest.
With an estimated 1,500 chimpanzees, Kibale Forest is one of the best places in the world to observe these fascinating primates in their natural habitat. With the help of your guide and a team of skilled trackers, you will embark on this unforgettable adventure. The chimpanzee tracking experience can vary in duration and intensity. Depending on the location of the chimpanzee groups and their movements on any given day. After breakfast. You’ll check out of your accommodation in Kibale Forest and embark on a scenic drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Notes for 5 Days Chimpanzees and Lion tracking
- Travelers should reach Entebbe on the tour day before 8 am and leave from the same airport at the end.
- If these times can’t be respected, then 1 or 2 days should be calculated for the overnight in Kampala.
- Children under 12 years of age will not see chimpanzees.
- Kibale National Park offers small walks of 1 or 2 hours with creative activities.
- Prices for private safari. No extra passengers.
- All prices have VAT.
- Prices are in United States dollars (USD).
- Chimpanzee permits are available for booking at least 2 months before the departure date.
- A deposit of 40% of the total amount is due.
- Book at least 60 days before the date of departure.
- Steady Safaris reserves the right to not accept bookings made less than 60 days before the date of departure.
- Full payment has to be made not less than 30 days before the departure date of the tour.
- If the full amount is not paid in due time. Steady Safaris Ltd reserves the right to treat the booking as canceled.
- Cancellations: 60 days before the departure date of the tour. A full refund of deposit; between 60 and 30 days. A refund of 50% of deposit; less than 30 days, no refund.
