Uganda Visa

Visa Application Process

An Uganda visa application requires a valid passport for all travel to east Africa, it should have 6month validity before the expiration date after returning from your trip.

In certain cases, foreign passport holders require entry, re-entry, or departure permits and/or visas to enter a country.

The type of visa you require depends on how long you plan to stay. Are you planning a short visit to Uganda, e.g. for a holiday? Or would you like to stay longer, e.g. to volunteer in an NGO?

You are required to apply for your visa before arrival at the Entebbe International Airport.
Depending on your country of origin, should you arrive without a visa, you will be disappointed when you are not allowed entry into Uganda.
So you are encouraged to apply online and receive your approval which you will have to show upon arrival.
