14 Days Uganda safari Itinerary

Day 1 Transfer to Murchison Falls national park
In the morning transfer to Murchison Falls National Park at the start of the 14 days Uganda safari. Visiting Ziwa rhino sanctuary on the way to see white rhinoceros. In the meantime, lunch will be had at the Kabalage dinners after tracking rhinos. Dinner and overnight at the chosen accommodation base on your budget.

Day 2: Game viewing, afternoon boat safari
Early in the morning game drive on tracks around the Nile delta, where a high concentration of wildlife can be found and will impress even the more reluctant safari lover. After lunch, boat trip on river Nile up to the base of the Murchison Falls, offering spectacular views of the Victoria Nile through a beautiful African atmosphere. Dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Drive to Kibale forest
After a very easy and rewarding walk to the top of Murchison Falls drive to Fort Portal, Kibale forest.

Day 4: Chimpanzee tracking
After breakfast go to Kibale Forest National Park for chimpanzee tracking activity for the morning. Chimpanzee tracking offers a chance to see chimpanzees habituated to human presence in their natural environment. Afternoon from 3 pm there is a swamp walk in the Bigodi area on trails developed by the local community as an initiative for community tourism.

Day 5: Queen Elizabeth national park
In the morning visit to crater lakes near Fort Portal before we continue to Queen Elizabeth national park and have a night game drive around the mating ground

Day 6: Explore Lion tracking
After breakfast on the 14 days Uganda safari we go on the savannah for morning lion tracking and afternoon a boat ride along the Kazinga Channel. During this sunrise safari, tourists will also see other wildlife such as elephants, African buffalo, hippopotamus, and antelopes.

Day 7: Sunrise safari
Game drives during this day are dedicated to discovering Queen Elizabeth National Park, one of the most diverse ecosystems in Africa. A total of 95 mammals species has been recorded. The park boasts of over 600 recorded bird species making it the ideal destination for bird watchers.

Day 8: Calm road trip to Bwindi forest national park
After breakfast, transfer to Bwindi National Park southwest of Uganda. Bwindi National Park is home to around 330 mountain gorillas, almost half of the world's population of mountain gorillas.

Day 9: Beautiful encounters with Mountain Gorillas
Early in the morning, after a short briefing with the local ranger starting the gorilla tracking experience. The tracking activity might take from 2 to 8 hours. People who choose not to track the gorillas in Bwindi will enjoy a nature walk in the park. Gorilla tracking marks the climax of the 14 days Uganda safari trip. Return to the chosen accommodation in the late afternoon.

Day 10: Deep in Africa's second deepest crater lake
After breakfast drive to Lake Bunyonyi called the "Switzerland of Africa". Lake Bunyonyi is one of the most pleasant and delightful places in Uganda. Relax on the lake.

Day 11: Community encounters
Morning boat cruise and visit to the village of Batwa pigmies. Free afternoon.

Day 12: Relaxation at the Lodge
Day of relaxation on Lake Bunyonyi. With its freshwater, bilharzia free and beautiful landscapes, Lake Bunyonyi is a small paradise for travelers looking for a place to relax.

Day 13: Transfer to Lake Mburo national park
After breakfast drive to Lake Mburo National Park. In the late afternoon boat cruise in the lake. Many plant species and animals can be seen clearly like crocodiles, hippos, and birds like pelicans, black crake, heron, cormorant, fish eagle, and the rare shoebill stork.

Day 14: Walking safari
After an early morning walking safari return for breakfast and return to Entebbe international airport for the departure of the travelers.

Transport using a customized vehicle equipped with GPS and opening roof; passengers and public liability insurance; full board; Expert driver/guide and UWA professional armed rangers in the parks when required; all fees for the excursions - activities as stated in the day by day program; all park entrance fees; accommodation as stated; return airport transfers.

International flight to and from Uganda, visas if required, personal travel insurance, gorilla and chimp permits, drinks, tips, laundry, optional activities, extras, personal items, and everything not stated in the day-by-day program.


  1. Travelers are supposed to reach Entebbe on the tour starting the day before 8 am and leaving from the same airport at the end of the tour after 8 pm.
    If these times can't be respected then 1 or 2 days should be calculated for the overnight in Kampala.
  2. Children under 12 years of age are not allowed to see chimpanzees.
  3. Kibale National Park offers small walks of 1 or 2 hours followed by creative activities.
  4. Gorilla trekking is not allowed to anyone under 15 years of age.
  5. Prices for private safari. No extra passengers were added.
  6. All prices are VAT included.
  7. Prices are in United States dollars (USD).
  8. Gorilla permits are available booking at least 3 weeks before the departure date.

booking Terms

  1. At the moment of booking a deposit of 40% of the total amount is due.
  2. Bookings must be made at least 60 days before the date of departure.
  3. Steady Safaris Ltd reserves the right to don't accept bookings made less than 60 days prior to the date of departure.
  4. Full payment has to be made not less than 30 days before the departing date of the tour.
  5. If the full amount is not paid in due time, Steady Safaris Ltd reserves the right to treat the booking as canceled.
  6. Cancellations: 60 days prior to the departure date of the tour, a full refund of deposit; between 60 and 30 days, refund of 50% of deposit; less than 30 days, no refund.
  7. Gorilla permits are non-refundable.
