Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Uganda - Entebbe

Arrive at Entebbe International Airport, where our guide will meet you. Depending on your arrival time, you can visit the Entebbe Botanical Gardens or explore the Uganda Wildlife Education Centre. Overnight at a luxury lodge in Entebbe.

Day 2: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park

18 Days Uganda and Rwanda Safari

Travel to Murchison Falls National Park, stopping at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for rhino tracking. Continue to the park, where you'll marvel at the powerful Murchison Falls. Stay at a midrange or luxury lodge.

Day 3: Game Drive & Boat Safari

Embark on an early morning game drive, spotting lions, elephants, and giraffes. In the afternoon, take a boat safari along the Nile River, observing hippos and crocodiles.

Day 4: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park

Drive to Kibale Forest National Park, home to 13 primate species. Check in at a lodge and relax in preparation for chimpanzee tracking.

Day 5: Chimpanzee Trekking & Bigodi Wetland Walk

Join a guided chimpanzee trek in Kibale Forest. Later, explore the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, known for its rich birdlife.

Day 6: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park for an afternoon game drive, where you'll see elephants, buffalo, and tree-climbing lions in the Ishasha sector.

Day 7: Game Drive & Kazinga Channel Boat Cruise

Enjoy a morning game drive before taking a boat safari on the Kazinga Channel, where hippos, crocodiles, and birds thrive.

Day 8: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

Head to Bwindi Forest National Park, famous for its mountain gorillas. Settle into a midrange or luxury lodge.

Day 9: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi

Day 10: Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

Day 12: Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes National Park

Day 13: Golden Monkey Tracking & Iby'Iwacu Cultural Village

Track the rare golden monkeys, then visit Iby'Iwacu Cultural Village to experience Rwandan traditions.

Day 14: Transfer to Nyungwe Forest National Park

Journey to Nyungwe Forest, home to chimpanzees and a spectacular canopy walk.

Day 15: Chimpanzee Trekking & Canopy Walk

Track chimpanzees in Nyungwe Forest and take the famous canopy walk above the treetops.

Day 16: Transfer to Kigali - City Tour

Travel to Kigali and visit the Genocide Memorial Centre before checking into a luxury hotel.

Day 17: Optional Excursions & Leisure

Day 18: Departure
